One Year Later: Working in the Studio

IMG_7230

We began our first filming trip one year ago, wrapping it up on March 6, 2012. We gathered our first interviews, and some b-roll footage of cannon and battlefields.

In the year since then, we have travelled across the country recording interviews in 4 states and b-roll in 6 states, have photographed primary documents, have been working with composers in Spain and voice actors from around the US, and had even more adventures.

Today we wrapped studio recording of our narrator, Milton Siepman, at Windrush Productions near Chris’ home in Greeneville, Tennessee. Special thanks to Stephen Thompson for his engineering work for us.

We are in the home stretch. Just over a year from our starting point, we are now narrowing in on our final cut of the film and DVD production. We can’t wait to share the film with you soon!
